New to CHROMA
Alexandra Arata (Washington D.C.)
Alexandra holds a master’s degree in interior architecture and design from University of Salamanca, Spain. She has participated in art exhibitions around the world including SCOPE Miami Beach, Architectural Digest Show (New York City), and International Fine Art Biennale (Basel, Switzerland). Her art can be found in private and public collections including Museum of the Americas (Miami), the White House, and International Monetary Fund. Arata explores the impact that colors and shapes produce in our lives, how they can change our mood, affect our psychology, and even produce a physical reaction.
Kevin Fletcher, See Through Me, 2023, acrylic on canvas
Kevin Fletcher (Miami)
Kevin Fletcher’s paintings are influenced by the perceptions of identities that we develop, display, and conceal throughout our lives. With over ten years of professional and academic experience in the architecture and design industry, Kevin's passion for bringing visualizations to ideas has been shaped around the cultural interaction of people and their surroundings. The digital process plays a critical role. Through iterations of image manipulation and digital painting - an idea becomes manifested through a form of layered visuals and sketches. From this stage, each physical painting takes shape through the use of mixed media and acrylics.
Monica Avayou (Mexico)
Monica Avayou mixes two of her greatest passions: art and fashion resulting in her emblematic yarn and recycled plastic bag pieces. From the twisting of the material in an exhaustive struggle to find its shape, the curves become visible and, in complicity with the folds they create, they hide and blur what is still to be discovered in a female body. Avayou has a sensual perception of the world that is embodied in her unique fabrics.
Adriana Mangupli (Argentina)
Adriana Mangupli is a self-taught artist with over fifteen years of experience. She creates abstract works in acrylic on canvas and the concept of infinity is the central theme. Her most commonly used painting techniques incorporate blurring, smudging, and smearing. Mangupli’s paintings have been shown at numerous exhibitions in her native Argentina as well as Red Dot Miami, Art Expo New York, the Maco Museum in Veroli (Italy), and the Contemporary Art Fair Exhibition (Paris), among others.
Francisco Cortes (Argentina)
The sculptures of Francisco Cortes possess the delicacy of the line and are both classic and modern. He draws with the line of life and creates animal archetypes such as a horse, rhinoceros, or bull. Their power and energy magically vibrate in Cortes’ works.
Karina Guerrero, Nostalgic 2023, acrylic
Karina Guerrero (Venezuela)
Karina Guerrero graduated as a Material Engineer in her hometown of Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to Miami in 2016. Her work is a combination of geometric structures and patterns that bring to life emotions and self-discovery.
Wynn Gay (New Jersey)
Wynn Gay is a self-taught artist who has pursued his love of painting for thirty years. He explores variations of abstraction and occasionally the natural world. Inspired by Froot Loops, he began an exploration of primary and secondary colors. While the genesis of this project in a children’s cereal may be unusual, it has led to a serious personal investigation into how color elicits feelings, emotions and even actions. Gay examines how those responses can be altered depending on the juxtaposition of colors, as well as by relative scale and space.
Returning Artists
Alejandra Stier (Argentina)
Alejandra Stier studied Graphic Design and Visual Arts at the University of Buenos Aires. Her art has been shown at exhibitions all over the world. Additionally, Stier has participated in Art Miami and Volta Art fairs. Some of her works are part of the permanent collection at Prinses Máxima Centrum in Ultrecht, Netherlands.
Anne Beatriz (Brazil)
When creating commissioned pieces, Anne Beatriz asks her clients to provide her with their favorite music. She then paints the emotions the music evokes in her. The resultant art is a unique piece that is in perfect symbiosis between Beatriz creative spirit, her client, and their chosen music.
Emilie Gosselin, Gourmandaise (Gluttony), 7 deadly sins series, 24x36 Mixed Media
Emilie Gosselin (Canada)
Emilie Gosselin is a French-Canadian artist from Quebec who loves art and colors. She finds inspiration in women. For 15 years, Gosselin was also a professional makeup artist. During this time, she developed a marked attraction for colors and brushes. She is a trained graphic designer now living her dream as a full-time artist.

Graciela Montich, Piedras 2, mixed media on linen
Payal Tak (Miami), Owner of Lucid Design District
Payal Tak uses a wide array of mediums and plays with structure and form that allows her to have an unrestricted approach towards creativity. Owing Lucid Design District is her second career. Prior to pursuing art full-time, she owned an IT company in Washington D.C. Painting reenergized her at the end of a stressful week. Tak works with untextured paint to develop textures without mixing external mediums. She places layers upon layers on each other and uses kitchen tools to give shapes to her works.
Sandra De Souza (Miami)
Sandra De Souza’s art is influenced by her Peruvian roots characterized by unique, organic textures and bold, bright colors. She experiments with everything from painting, sculpture, and jewelry. De Souza focuses on large-scale paintings that range from abstract to surrealist-inspired, mixed media paintings.
Simi Bhandari (Washington D.C.)
With a background in graphic design, Simi Bhandari found her niche creating paintings and has devoted the past 30 years towards this pursuit. She has participated in numerous group shows in the D.C. area, as well as her native India, and her paintings can be found in both corporate and private collections. Bhandari uses spatial patterns and color shifts. Her process is constantly evolving where the thoughts and materials work simultaneously to create gratifying pieces.

Tanja Ličina (Serbia)
Tanja Ličina examines different concepts and norms within contemporary societies as well as her own inner worlds. She mainly focuses on subconscious, absurdity, nothingness, fluidity of time and concept of death/endings, sexual orientation, and gender roles. Ličina combines basic geometric shapes such as cones and spheres and creates anthropomorphic, symbolic, and suggestive structures that levitate in the inky non-space. Her work has been shown by the Belgrade Museum of Art and she has participated in many group exhibitions and solo shows and is dedicated to her non-profit organization "My Turn" which helps to integrate people with special needs, in sports and arts.
Victoria Lopez (Argentina)
As a result of her experience in the video game industry, Victoria Lopez has developed a great understanding and vision of upcoming technologies, as well as expertise in a vast number of mediums in which animation can tell a story. She works with a very diverse color palette, often featuring the rainbow as a symbol for love and diversity. Lopez is best known for her digital work, and most recently, her juxtaposition of both digital and physical artworks, as her recently created 'Motion Box'.
