Harry Van der Hoorn and Thomas Woodham-Smith have confirmed their first group of exhibitors at this year’s The Treasure House Fair. This is a curated, global event with a strong selection of distinguished names across a wide range of disciplines, from ancient art to aspects of contemporary art, including sculpture, tapestry, ceramics, jewellery and design, as well as furniture, clocks and watches and rare books. The co-organisers told ANF: “We are extremely proud to set the tone for The Treasure House Fair in 2023 with some of the great family-owned shops and galleries in the UK, many of them third-generation and beyond, including S. Franses, Ronald Phillips, Butchoff Antiques, S.J. Phillips, Wartski, Koopman Rare Art and Richard Green,” says Thomas Woodham-Smith. “In addition, we will have an impressive selection of exhibitors from America, such as S.J. Shrubsole, Michele Beiny and the Geoffrey Diner Gallery." |
Wartski: Blue topaz and diamond brooch by Carl Fabergé, signed by August Holmström
(St Petersburg, before 1899).
WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR: |
Harry Van der Hoorn adds, “The Treasure House Fair has been generated by dealers in the UK. It’s very important for London to have a key multi-disciplinary event for art and antiques in June. It’s a big vote of confidence for our new fair that Galerie Gmurzynska will come from Switzerland to focus on 20th century modern and contemporary classics, as well as Galerie Cahn with Classical antiquities. And from France we have Univers Du Bronze, with major bronzes from The Golden Age, 1830-1930. For a full exhibitors list visit The Treasure House Fair/Exhibitors
