Carol and Robert Pugh, directors of Flea For All Ltd, and organisers of Carmarthen Antique and Flea Market at the United Counties Showground, Carmarthen, are pleased to announce that the long term future of the event has now be secured by its take-over by the Trust which owns and runs the Showground itself, The United Counties Agricultural Society, who already run the highly successful Welsh Dairy Show at the site.

It is almost thirty years since the Pugh’s inaugural Carmarthen Antiques Fair at this venue (under the banner of Towy Antiques Fairs) during which time the trade has seen many changes, and the original antiques events gradually emerged into the enormously popular Antiques & Flea Markets of recent years.

Meanwhile, the recent pause in events caused by the pandemic (with the occupation of Testing/Vaccination centre on the Showground) gave them ample opportunity to consider the future and it was decided that it was time to hand over to fresh hands to take their events forward.

Robert and Carol are most grateful for the enormous support of all their dealers over the years, as well as the many regular visitors who made the whole thing such a great success, and who are no doubt keen for the fairs to return to Carmarthen once more.
