Antiques News & Fairs - Art & Antiques for Everyone NEC

Around 100 regular exhibitors at Art & Antiques & Everyone Summer Fair will be taking part in the Online Showcase which opens on the day that the real life event would have opened, 16-19 July 2020, and will be extended on the website for a further 5 weeks, to the end of August.

The Showcase is in a separate area on the AAfE website and each exhibitor will have a complete page or stand within the virtual event, which is designed to present seven key exhibits and to drive traffic to the exhibitor's website.

Key to the success of the online fair will be links through to the website and social media channels of each online exhibitor so purchasing items will be done on their private websites and no purchasing will actually happen on the AAfE website where their role will simply be “pushing” people towards the exhibitors.

Searchable specialties will be: Sculpture, Ceramics, Clocks & Barometers, Decorative & Applied Arts, Lighting, Oriental, Paintings/Art, Silver, Jewellery, Glass, Treen and Furniture

Regular visitors to AAfE will be pleased to know there will be a wide range of dealers taking part including M&D Moir, Haynes Fine Art, Dansk Antiques, Art of the Imagination, Erna Hiscock & John Shepherd, EA Alvarino, Granta Fine Art, Hickment Fine Art, John Newton Antiques, Mark Goodger Antiques, Morgan Strickland Antiques, S&A Marsh Cermaics, Scarab Antiques & Solo Antiques.

AAfE has a healthy visitor database of more than 10,000, which they will be emailing in the run up and during the event with news and fair highlights. Other marketing plans are in place to go alongside social media promotion, which include Fair Top Picks from regular exhibitor and keynote speaker at Mark Hill. Mark will be working with the fair to promote the event and will be joined by celebrity designer Kelli Ellis, together they will select their Top Pick suggestions from the virtual fair to be showcased on their social channels, as well as on the social channels of event partner Ronati with video commentary from Mark and Kelli.

Please note the event WILL NOT BE VETTED as items will be purchased through the external websites of the exhibitors.

AAfE Winter 2020:

Organiser Dan Leyland: "The online fair will also be a perfect opportunity to promote our Winter Fair which at the moment is very much business as usual. There is a huge amount of work being done with event organisers, UK venues, larger organisers and contractors to develop a blueprint for the events industry to re-open and Marisa Beckman co director of MAD Events has been involved in these discussions. We are confident that we will be in a good position to run the Fair in November if large gatherings are permitted, and even if social distancing is still required."
