ABOUT THIS FAIR:

Much to the delight of the trade and many loyal customers the very popular Little Chelsea Antiques Fair will return to the Chelsea Old Town Hall from 2-3 March 2020 with the new name of Little Chelsea Decorative Arts & Antiques Fair,.

Jane Alexander, owner of Dovehouse Fine Antiques Fairs has taken the oppportunity to revitalise this well-loved and established event, now in its 40th anniversary year following her success in breathing new life into the Dorking Halls Antiques Fairs in Surrey in 2013, now also in its 40th year of operation. Jane launched Dovehouse Fine Antiques Fairs, establishing the monthly Cobham Antiques Fairs, in 2012.

Jane told ANF: “I feel privileged to be managing this fair, to expand its audience and relaunch it in its traditional home, Chelsea Old Town Hall. Renamed the Little Chelsea Decorative Arts & Antiques Fair, the joy of this friendly event is the 4 halls full of unique antiques and decorative arts for the home interior including mid-20th century pieces, as well as a beautiful range of jewellery, all at affordable prices.”

The Little Chelsea Decorative Arts & Antiques Fair will have over 60 exhibitors with a wide range and calibre of stock to enhance and grow the fair’s reputation.

Jane vision is to broaden its scope and spectrum for a new generation of buyers searching for potential family heirlooms or unique and and one of a kind pieces for their homes.

Exhbitor interior designer, Kerstin Williams of Reid Williams Design, told ANF: “The Decorative Arts are incredibly important to any interior, whether domestic or corporate. A good Decorative Crafts and Antiques fair is a perfect place to search out unusual and interesting pieces. By mixing styles and periods with contemporary furniture and decorative pieces, you are creating something very personal and interesting.”

Carolyn Stoddard Scott, the original founder of Little Chelsea Antiques Fair and a stand holder, says: “I am absolutely delighted that Little Chelsea is returning to the fair circuit. Under Jane’s enthusiast stewardship it will attract a new generation of buyers & sellers whilst keeping its wonderful, friendly presence & charm”
