ABOUT THIS FAIR:

One of the most eagerly awaited events in the calendar for more than 30 years, The Bath Decorative Antiques Fair retains its position as the premier regional decorative event with an international audience and many of the stars of the decorative trade firmament on show at the Pavilion, Bath from 5-8 March 2020.

Positioned at the beginning of the Spring season, Bath Decorative Antiques Fair celebrates Garden as Gallery as the theme for 2020.  Around 45 exhibitors will show antiques and art with a garden theme to adorn the home and garden when they convene in the Georgian City of Bath to reveal stock saved for this annual event.

Using antiques designed for the garden inside the house has now become a firm trend with interior designers and around 45 exhibitors will bring a range of urns, sculpture, furniture, carved animals, gates and trellises, troughs and vessels of many sizes and materials to embellish the home and of course the garden.

Embellishing the garden theme at the fair will be the anticipated inspiration for trade and homemakers who throng to the fair each year seeking out English, Swedish and Continental decorative and antique furniture for the contemporary informal home, lighting, mirrors and accessories, folk art, period and contemporary art from a number of specialist dealers, period textiles, semi formal country house furniture including plenty of artfully re-upholstered antique chairs and sofas and chic mid century furniture and accessories from Denmark and Sweden.

Owner of the fair Sue Ede: “We are honoured to own this important event which is so cherished by all who sail in her!  We are very much looking forward to welcoming new and returning friends to the fair this year."
