WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR:

A recent production, The House & Garden Festival is the only event of its kind, presenting premier antiques and design at The Art & Antiques Fair Olympia with contemporary appeal for homemakers with the HOUSE & GROW London, Spirit of Summer all under one enormous central London roof.

The event offers an unrivalled and stimulating programme of experts' talks and panels every day and ANF top pick is 'In conversation: Antiques in Interior design - Anything but Dull' with celebrity interior designers Nina Campbell and India Hicks and antiques industry expert Mark Hill  on Wednesday 26 June hosted by Ivan Macquestion on behalf of joint sponsors Ronati an exciting new digital innovation company working in the antiques industry.

Director of the fair, Mary Claire Boyd, told ANF: "Like our guests, Nina Campbell, India Hicks, Mark Hill and Ivan Macquisten, designing with antiques in the 21st century is anything but dull. Join us for a lively conversation lead by the brilliant (and fabulously witty) Ivan Macquisten as he takes us into the visual worlds of Nina, India and Mark. Learn about their love affairs with antiques and how integrating them into contemporary design is an art that elevates all interiors from the most formal to the most bohemian." The event will be followed by book signings and refreshments.

Other must do events include: 'Fake Fortune and Flowers' with celebrity art dealer Philip Mould,  who will talk about his experiences in the art world and how research, technology and conservation have revealed secrets of undiscovered paintings.  Philip is also president of Plantlife (the charitable partner of the event) and will relate how his attachment to nature  has helped in the process of bringing lost paintings to life.
