ABOUT THIS FAIR:

This week’s Decorative Home & Salvage Show takes place on the beautiful Loseley Park Estate in ancient Surrey parkland close to the North Downs and within easy reach of London and the south of England. Home to the More-Molyneux family and remarkably unchanged since 1562, it is a place of calm, grace and subtle beauty, providing a truly wonderful backdrop to an event with a focus on all things old and beautiful.

Celebrating 10-years of Decorative Home & Salvage Shows, AS Fairs tell us they are delighted to be back in Surrey and are looking forward to welcoming everyone to this annual three-day event. Excellent for both the trade and private buyer, all are treated to a wealth of salvage and industrial items, period home fixtures and fittings, decorative and architectural antiques, garden furniture and statuary, restored and up-cycled furniture, vintage treasures and beautiful one-off homewares.

Source & Style: an inspirational video by Alice Roberton & Tamsyn Morgans

While to many choosing and displaying antique, salvage and vintage treasures is second nature, we know there are many people who love the thought of these events, and all that they offer, but are in need of a bit of inspiration. To this end, we employed the services of creative team Alice Roberton, writer and stylist, and Tamsyn Morgans, photographer and stylist, to make us a 10-minute inspirational video when they visited our recent Beale Park show. ‘Source & Style’ sees the pair shopping the event, talking about what they find, why things catch their eye and what they plan to use them for, it then shows how they put the whole lot together in one glorious textured pastel summer display. You can view the video and can read all about Tamsyn’s visit to the show over on her blog; here her enthusiastic words are accompanied by a wonderful set of images. Look out for Alice and Tamsyn at Loseley Park where they will be making ‘Source & Style’ Part 2, this time with a focus on all things industrial and salvage.

Hoarde Vintage Event Collaboration/Instagram

We are delighted to have collaborated with online marketplace Hoarde Vintage and the 'Girls on the Ground', Sam Hansard and Tamara Broido who will be bringing you a series of ‘behind the scenes’ lives, exhibitor interviews and videos over on their Instagram on Friday. Kicking off with their pre-event ‘Finders Forecast’ chat on Thursday 8th at 7pm, owner of Hoarde Vintage, and Decorative Collective, Jane Walton and Sam Hansard of Vintage Curator Interiors and Your Antique Sourcing Studio will be chatting to Alice and Tamsyn about all things vintage and antique, and, of course what’s happening at the event. You can tune in at @asfairs or @hoarde_vintage.

This outdoor event will be adhering to Covid19 guidelines, and the site is large enough to facilitate social distancing. Please pay attention to our signage and use the hand sanitiser stations throughout the event to help us keep everyone safe. Please ask before handling goods. We advise that you bring cash and card (no cash machine) and your own carrier bags. All info can be found here.
