painted tobacco jars by Johann Maresch, circa 1890
|
An
animal theme is still the mainstay of Elizabeth Bradwin's antiques
business. Currently the emphasis is on Austrian bronzes and polychrome
painted terracota items including tobacco jars.
"I am fortunate having loyal clients who
know they can buy good original pieces from me, although sometimes
it is frustrating that the latest stock is re-homed before ever
getting seen on the internet." she says. (Click onto Elizabeth
Bradwin's entire website via our Trade Index).
