ANTIQUE   ANIMALS   AND   AMERICAN   PAINTINGS
Austrian bronze rabbit on cabbage leaf, circa 1880

Polychrome painted tobacco jars by Johann Maresch, circa 1890

An animal theme is still the mainstay of Elizabeth Bradwin's antiques business. Currently the emphasis is on Austrian bronzes and polychrome painted terracota items including tobacco jars.
"I am fortunate having loyal clients who know they can buy good original pieces from me, although sometimes it is frustrating that the latest stock is re-homed before ever getting seen on the internet." she says. (Click onto Elizabeth Bradwin's entire website via our Trade Index).

Early 20th century American painting by Bernard Klonis (1906-1957)

When Elizabeth is not antiquing, she is attempting to break into the screenplay business with her American co-writer whose Pennsylvanian family deal in early 20th American paintings, amongst other things. A selection will appear on the website soon.
A film script nearing completion features Portobello Saturday antiques market with some colourful, but entirely fictitious characters making forays to Olympia Fine Art and Antiques shows.
