CHEAP,  CHEERFUL  AND  CHIC
by  Our  Own  Motoring  Correspondent

Today more dealers are selling small antiques than furniture, so their load luggers can come in similiarly pint-size proportions. The choice is immense. However for something cheap, cheerful and chic, the Fiat Panda takes some beating. It is made in Poland using the latest technology and appears to be very reliable.
Car of the Year 2004, the new Panda is ideal for antiques dealers who do not need a bulk carrier. It is pure practicality that can find its way into parking spaces where other cars cannot squeeze.
With the back seats flat, the 775dm3 load space is ideally shaped for boxes of stock with a wide opening, easy access tailgate.
Happy on the motorway as well as in town, the 1.1 litre petrol Panda does 50mpg. The UK on-the-road list price is £6295, with discounts of around £400 readily negotiable.
