THE DECORATIVE ANTIQUES & TEXTILES FAIR AUTUMN EDITION 2016
With the biggest ever Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair for the Autumn Edition – 27 September – 2 October, 2016, with 160 dealers, what to do when you have more would be exhibitors than space? Thankfully the new layout of the purpose built Evolution marquee has an extensive mezzanine show space at The Decorative Fair which has been transformed into a snazzy decorators’ runway of exhibitors all with the Battersea seal of approval.
Exhibiting on the mezzanine for the first time at Battersea and this September celebrating 40 years of trading at the iconic former department store with the Egyptian styled facade in Church Street, Marylebone, is Alfies Antiques. Many current and former Alfies exhibitors, there are 100s of them – exhibit at Battersea independently but this time there will be a pavilion shared by among others The Moderns, Tin Tin Collectables Luggage, Thirteen Interiors, Duncan Clarke African Textiles, Louise Verber, Steven Lazarus and Matt Mitchell,London.
The pavilion will profile the diversity and high design of the dealers at Alfies Antiques, bringing together some of the best from across the 75 current dealers at the Marylebone centre, from Midcentury Modern to African Textiles.
Adire is the name given to indigo dyed cloth produced by Yoruba women of south western Nigeria
