Penman Fairs Announce their Spring and Summer Events
This spring and summer, collectors and enthusiasts alike can look forward to an exciting series of events from Penman Fairs.
The Chelsea Art Fair takes place from 27-30 April 2017. As always, the primary focus of the fair will be original paintings, works of art and sculpture, dating from 1950 to contemporary.
Visitors enjoy displays at a previously held Chelsea Art Fair.
The second Firle Place Antiques Fair will take place from 2-4 June 2017, near Lewes in East Sussex. It is being held a month earlier than last year, to allow for the Olympian exhibitors to attend. Set in a C18th Riding School in a beautiful country estate in the South Downs, which also hosts a very popular Garden Fair in April and a Vintage Fair in August, the Firle Place Antiques Fair is comparable to the Petersfield Fair, with black standfitting and works fully vetted for quality and originality. The House will be open to the public, and it is hoped that 'Gardenalia' and Statuary will be hosted outside on the lawns.

Finally, the second Burford School Antiques Fair will take place in Burford, Oxfordshire, from 29-30 July 2017. The event is still in the planning and development stage, but will closely resemble the arrangement of 2016's fair, displaying a good mix of disciplines and featuring exclusively original works.
