New Events in 2017 for Galloway Antiques Fairs

Popular fair organisers Galloway Antiques Fairs have a full calendar for 2017 with a couple of exciting new additions to add to the list.

This summer will see George Watson's College in Edinburgh added to the venue schedule, and Cowdray House in West Sussex will play host in mid-Autumn.  Both fairs will offer a wide range of antiques, furniture for the home and collector, silver, jewellery, paintings, sculpture, glass, porcelain, antiquarian  books and prints, angling antiques, oriental rugs, mirrors, clocks, lighting and decorative accessories. All items are vetted for quality and reproductions are strictly forbidden, allowing all visitors to browse and buy with confidence.

Galloway Antiques and Fine Art Fair, George Watson's College, Edinburgh - 28-30 July 2017

George Watson’s College, a co-educational independent day school in Scotland with a rich history, and famous for producing such figures as Sir Chris Hoy, Sir Malcolm Rifkind, David Steel and Jack Docherty, is an ideal setting for this fair. Stands will be set out in the entrance foyer which leads directly into the oak floored assembly hall of this beautiful building, with the bonus of home-baked treats for exhibitors and visitors from the school's 'Bun Room'.

The event will feature many regular exhibitors, as well as popular local dealers, including Julia Drinkhall, E. A Alvarino, Cathedral Antiques, Roselane, John Briggs and Hilary Farquharson.

The fair will take place at George Watson’s College, Collinton Road, Edinburgh EH10 5EG.
