The Old Corkscrew - Set of candelabra by STUART DEVLIN (1931- April 2018).Devlin became one of the most respected English silversmiths of the late 20th century.    His pioneering techniques led to a large variety of textures and filigree forms that stand apart in the lexicon of silver design.  This is from his 1975 annual collection (limited edition of 100). This set of candelabra with gilded filigree that crowns the main column was a trademark of his look.

Wakelin and Linfield - Antique 18th century Neapolitan marble bombe serpentine commode.  An unusually large mid 18th century Neapolitan bombe and serpentine fronted commode retaining its original marble top. Retaining its original gilded brass sabeaux  Italy. C1760.

ABOUT THIS FAIR:

The Winter Art & Antiques Fair Olympia will return from October 29 to November 4 on the Gallery Level on the National Hall of Olympia London. With over 20,000 objects of outstanding quality, the fair is the last important art and antiques fair before Christmas. The dark winter nights give the event a seasonal sparkle and luxurious atmosphere.

New exhibitors to the 2018 edition include: Ted Few, Berlin Walls, Antikbar Original Vintge Posters, Fine Art Commissions, The Englishman Fine Art, Cantelo Antiques, Markov and Walton House Antiques.

Regular returnees include: Haynes Fine Art, Morgan Strickland Decorative Arts, Anthea AG Antiques Ltd, Jeroen Markies, Wakelin and Lin field, Steve Sly Japanese Works of Art, Sarah Colgrave, Mary Cooke, Serhat Ahmet and The Old Corkscrew (South Africa).  Art Consultant Vanessa Curry will be doing highlights tours of the fair and there will be a variety of cultural and interior talks throughout the fair.

S&S Timms - Extremely rare large pair of Regency Period circular gilt-wood convex mirrors with original mirror plates. Surrounded by ribbed and moulded concave frames with applied ball decoration. Circa 1820 priced at £28,000.
