55 YEARS IN - THE BIGGEST ANTIQUES SHOW IN THE WORLD
Currently open for business, the world’s largest indoor antiques fair with nearly 1,000 recognised exhibitors from 28 countries - The Original Miami Beach Antique Show. Running for five day from 28 January to 01 Februrary 2016, the show has a footfall of c20,000 attendees with a serious intent who will converge on what is by British standards of scale, a standalone universe of antiques and antique jewellery.
The 1000 exhibitors will bring a dizzying range of stock from Renaissance to Art Deco eras including fine art, American and European silver, antique jewelry, 17th-19th century furniture, porcelain, and more. Additionally, the convention center’s Flamingo Ballroom will house an exquisite array of antique, estate and vintage pieces from highly regarded jewellery dealers among whom will be British company Symbolic & Chase.

Putting her toe in the water for the first time in Miami will be CT dealer, Margaret Schwartz of The SummerhouseCT who won her stand as part of the Antiques Young Gun of the Year USA award, organised by the show owners, again the largest in the world – US Antique Shows. Margaret told ANF: “I am beyond thrilled to have this opportunity to fly the flag for young dealers everywhere. I have made arrangements for an airfreight delivery from Europe for my showcase and I am excited to gauge response from all these hungry visitors!”

U.S. Antique Shows will also offer attendees’ exclusive educational opportunities that run concurrently with the show. The show producer will host the Third Annual Jewellery History Series two days prior to the opening of the show. The jewellery conference, Jan. 26-27, has a comprehensive schedule including discussions of jewellery from different viewpoints, tours of selected booths prior to show opening, and a special screening of the award-winning documentary, Sharing The Rough.
