The 11th annual National Antiques Day
Friday 28th November 2008
Building on the success
of National Antiques Day in previous years antiques dealers
throughout the country are preparing for the tenth annual
event on Friday 28th November 2008.
The
aim is to publicise the advantages dealers offer to both buyers
and sellers of antiques and to introduce newcomers to the
world of antiques.
In
addition, many people have still to discover the advantage
of purchasing collectables and practical antiques, such as
furniture, that appreciate in value whilst being appreciated
in the home.
Throughout Britain, dealers' individual initiatives on National
Antiques Day, will draw attention to their own businesses
and the antiques trade in general. Many events will continue
throughout the week.
National
